QUICK FACTS ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Criteria

All mentees should be SoarAway Alumni (should have taken part in a Soar program in the past) or be current University Students. Interested Mentors however are not required to have participated in a Soar Program.

Deadline

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis all year round. The Program begins as soon as a team is created.

Length of the Program

Six Months

Time Commitment

At least 12 encounters of one hour each. However, our emphasis is more on the quality of the interaction and the unique support each mentee needs to thrive.

Meetings

Face-face or by phone, email/skype if partners are located in different districts.
